The best gift I have received

 The best gift I have received was the one I received on my 15th birthday in Mexico, my friends had arranged a small party because they did not know it was my birthday at that time. They bought me two small chocolate cupcakes and placed two small candles on top of each one. They gave me a small basket of candies as a last minute gift. Even though I don't celebrate my birthday, once they found out it was mine they did it the same day after school, it made me happy that they went through the trouble to celebrate even though it wasn't a lot of people, so I still remember it till this day.

Today we did the discussion questions for chapters 6-7 of "A Lesson Before Dying".

I think these questions help us analyze the story in a deeper way so we can help us understand the small events so we can understand the story better.

Something I will never fully understand

 Something that I would never fully understand is the way that people think. Every single individual thinks in a different way that makes it almost impossible to guess the outcome. Sometimes it can be a good thing, but it can also be a bad thing, because people might not think the same as others creating conflicts between one another. Today we did a Robert Frost poetry analysis sheet, and reflected over it. This analysis can help me in the way that I view life and my future, helping me make better decisions.
