A letter to myself in 10 years

If I wrote a letter for myself in 10 years I would remind myself to never forget to appreciate the people that help me throughout life, seek every opportunity that's possible and to never give up the hope in my dreams. Some advice I would tell myself would be to, be careful with the decisions that I make, especially if it can affect other people's life around me. And lastly, I hope that I'm still the same person that I am today, only that I would be reliable enough for people to depend on me.

My personal approach to creativity.

Some of the steps that I follow when working on a project are, first research the topic, second section the information, and third manage my time. I think these are some important steps when doing a project because each one helps with a specific task. For example, the research is to know more about the topic and the information about it. Sectioning the information is for having the information sorted out from the most important to the least important. And lastly, managing the time helps to not spend too much time on one topic or step while making the project.

A time I took a hiatus from something important

One time where I took a hiatus from something important was when I tried to take a break from any work from school back in Mexico. I was almost finished with all my homework so I  decided to go to my rooftop to relax and relieve any stress that I had, an hour later my mom was screaming my name because she couldn't find me anywhere, I apologized and just went back to finish my homework. It wasn't that impactful, but since then I have been taking breaks in places in which I'm easy to spot in.

A moment when i felt i had the power to make a difference in someone else's life.

One time I felt I had the power to make a difference in someone else's life, was with my little brother, he was trying to make a decision on what classes he should take for the next year. I told him to think on what he wanted to do once he was older and told him to search which classes could help him with what he wanted, he even did the same thing last year and this year to, I feel proud that he followed my advice and that I helped him make a good decision.

A place where i feel the most at peace.

One place where I feel the most at peace is my home, especially my bed, I feel the most at peace there because I can be myself and do my own stuff whenever I want. I like to sleep a lot and my bed is really comfortable, so that's why I feel at ease whenever I lay down in my bed.

A time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on me.

One time when someone's words had a lasting impact on me was when my mother told me that she was never going to be with me all my life, I was in elementary school then but ever since she said that I had always tried to be self sufficient, just to be able to do things for my own if something were to happen to my mother.

A time when i had to rely on someone else. (Jan 15/16)

One time that I had to rely on someone else was when I was in middle school, I had just moved to the U.S. and it was my first day in school, I had to rely on a kid to translate and help me throughout the whole day and help me find my classes. It felt weird to me since I have always tried to do things by myself, and depending on someone to help me was sort of new to me.

An object that holds sentimental value and why it’s important to me.

One object that holds sentimental value to me and it's important is a baseball cap that I reserved as a birthday present, I have had it for quite a while now and it holds value because the person who gave it to me is very important and close to me. I always make sure that it's clean and take good care of it making sure it doesn't wear off too quickly.

A moment I had to step outside my comfort zone

One time that I had to step outside of my comfort zone was when I was back at Mexico attending a parents meeting with my mom, it was a meeting for my younger brother's graduation party and my mom had me stay in the meeting while she went to take care of some things that she needed before coming back, I had to give ideas and talk instead of my mom.

If I were president of the United States of America

If I were president of the United States of America I would try to have more transportation for schools, and i would also add more options of subjects because I think that school should also focus on the abilities of students in different areas other than studies. I would build hospitals in places that people don't have one, because that way they can reach a hospital nearby. I would build schools in which they focus on the physical abilities of students, teaching stuff like plumbing, electricity, and other stuff like that.

A Dream that felt real

I once had dreamed that I was swimming and suddenly i felt something pulling me from beneath, I was so scared but I couldn't scream for some reason, when I woke up I was sweating and was really shaken up. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.

Holiday break

My holiday break was pretty chill, I didn't do anything in particular other than rest all day and hang out with friends. I went ice skating and to a coffee shop after that. Five goals that I would like to achieve this year are, getting A's and B's for my grades, making new friends, playing more sports, being more productive, and being more sociable.  I chose these goals because I think that these are factors in which I can improve on a daily basis.
